1sqft: a small works exhibit

We're starting a new tradition at the Galleries at CCBC. Each year, we're putting out the call for artwork from current CCBC students to be considered in this juried exhibition. Each artwork must be no larger than 12"x12"x12" in size but can be of any medium and any style. 

 

The inaugural exhibition will be hosted at the Gallery at CCBC Essex starting May 18th and will close on July 31st, 2024. Applications are now being accepted and will be open until April 8th, 2024.

We're excited to announce Jerrell Gibbs as the guest juror! Visit his website to learn about this talented artist.

Important Dates

  • Application Deadline: April 8th

  • Acceptance Notification: April 22nd

  • Artwork Drop-Off: May 6th-10th

  • Exhibition Start: May 18th

  • Reception: May 18th, 1-3pm

  • Exhibition End: July 31st

  • Artwork Pick-Up: August 1st-3rd

Crafts Supplies

Application Requirements

  • Must be a currently enrolled CCBC Student, does not have to be a credited course.

  • Works must be 12"x12"x12" or smaller.

  • Must supply at least 1 image of the artwork.

  • Work cannot be created during the Portfolio Development course.
