About The Event
The Hottest Blaze in Town: The Life of Fannie Belle Fleming delves into Blaze Starr's journey from her humble beginnings in West Virginia to her reign as the "Queen of Baltimore Burlesque." The exhibit highlights facets of her career not often explored- as an emancipated woman, one with considerable business acumen.
This exhibition will be held at the Catonsville Gallery from April 22 to June 15, 2024. Curated by Cathy Till, The Hottest Blaze in Town will showcase images and artifacts from Fannie Belle Fleming's life, both as a private citizen as well as from her time as a Burlesque star.
